He was an American actor, born on September 23, 1921, in Connecticut, USA, as James N. Joyce. He played various additional and supporting roles. He is known for The Swimmer (1968), Opening Night (1977), and The Bionic Woman (1976). He was married to Rita Joyce, with whom he had seven children. He died at the age of 89 on March 15, 2011 in Cedar Glen, California, USA.
