He was an American actor, born on January 6, 1911, in Bergen, New York, USA, as William F. Sands. He is known for Rocky (1976), High Anxiety (1977), and McHale's Navy Joins the Air Force (1965). He was married and had two children. He passed away at the age of 73 from lung cancer on August 27, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
