An American actor, born in East Chicago, Indiana, USA, on April 14, 1914. John Hubbard married Lois Hubbard, and they had three children. Among his most important works are Dramatic School (1938), The Tall T (1957), Man and His Mate (1940), and The Mickey Rooney Show (1954-1955). Hubbard worked in theater, film, and television. He played leading, supporting, and minor roles. He began his career in musicals and Hal Roach comedies before he became, for a short period, a performer of minor leading roles during the war years, then he was recruited into the army in 1944, and after his military service in 1947, he was relegated to supporting roles. During his acting career, he worked as a car salesman and restaurant manager. John Hubbard died at the age of 74 in Camarillo, California, USA, on November 6, 1988, of kidney failure.
