He was a Polish actor, born on September 8, 1893, in Warsaw, Poland. Through his two-decade career, he played various additional and supporting roles. He appeared in Witness for the Prosecution (1957), The Big Sleep (1946), and The Grapes of Wrath (1940). He died at the age of 79 on May 8, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
