A British actor, born in St Marylebone, London, England, United Kingdom, in 1911, as Emil R. Stemmler. Among his most important works is Our Man in Marrakesh (1966). He played supporting and minor roles in cinema and television, often appearing as a waiter, barman, drunkard, restaurant patron, or soldier. He also worked as a private assistant and double for the star Herbert Lom.
