A British musician and actor, born in Denmark Hill, London, England, United Kingdom, as Stanley William Tracey. He married Jackie Buckland (1960-2009). They had two children, and she remained with him until her death. He is known for Testing Oils for Two-Stroke Engines (1963), Thriller (1973), Scene Nun, Take One (1964), and Sargy Mann (2006). Stan Tracey was a pianist, jazz musician, composer, and actor. He became a musician at the age of 16. He was a prolific composer and wrote music for large bands and small groups. Tracey was the first recipient of the Ivor Novello Jazz Award in 2012. He died in England, United Kingdom, on December 6, 2013, of cancer.
