He was a French actor, born in Lausanne, Canton de Vaud, Switzerland. He worked as a model and a TV presenter before pursuing a career in acting. His debut was in A Woman Disappears (1941). He is known for The Last Adventure (1967), Portrait of a Woman (1942), and Manouche (1943). His final appearance was in Gros dégueulasse (1986). He married three times and had three daughters. He passed away in 2000 in Manosque, France.
