A Belgian actor and director, born in Brussels, Belgium. He attended the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He was the father of Fabrice Rouleau and Philippe Rouleau. His debut as an actor was L'Argent (1928), and his directorial debut was Suzanne (1932). His credits include Les amants de Teruel (1962), Paris Frills (1945), and The Messenger (1937). He was married to Françoise Rouleau, Françoise Lugagne, and Tania Balachova. He died on December 11, 1981, in Paris, France, of cancer.
