An American writer, journalist, and presenter, born in North Carolina, United States. She received her university education in her hometown and presented a weekly program. She also covered the election of Margaret Thatcher, the late British Prime Minister, the royal wedding in Britain in 1981 of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, and the sectarian violence in Northern Ireland, in addition to many other events. She appeared in the short The Martha Mitchell Effect.
