German actor, born in Oberzycko, Poland. He began his artistic career through stage acting, then entered the field of cinema in the early 1920s, where he acted in many films in Germany, France, and the United States, in addition to some later appearances in television productions. He also worked as a voice actor for many American films, dubbing them into German. He passed away on September 11, 1978, in the city of Berlin, Germany.
