Among her best known works are Deported (1950), Cuban Fireball (1951), That Midnight Kiss (1949), and El último varon sobre la Tierra (1933). At the age of 85, she suffered a stroke and died on July 31, 1970, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
