An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA, as James McElhern. His credits include Sin Cargo (1926), Casey of the Coast Guard (1926), Mary Burns, Fugitive (1935), and Anna Christie (1930). James was a musical comedian from the silent era of cinema, and he caught up with the sound era and presented supporting roles such as a priest, doctor, judge, photographer, and more. He died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on August 12, 1948, at the age of 77.
