He was a Cameroonian actor, born in Ekang, Cameroon. He studied at the Collège François-Xavier Vogt and at the École normale supérieure in Yaoundé. His debut was in Fièvre jaune taximan (1985). He is known for Chocolat (1988), The Bloodettes (2005), and Tiga, l'héritage (2000). He died at the age of 50 from cancer on July 25, 2005, in Paris, France.
