A British actor, born in Darjeeling, India. His works include I Take This Woman (1931), The Scarlet Empress (1934), The Garden of Allah (1927), and Just a Gigolo (1931). He caught up with the end of the silent era of cinema and continued to work in the sound era of cinema, and in 1939, he submitted a petition to obtain American citizenship. He died in Encino, California, USA, on June 3, 1956, at the age of 46.
