He was a Swiss actor, born in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. His debut was in Prune (1970). He is known for Every Man for Himself (1980), Dobermann (1997), and I... For Icarus (1979). His last appearance was in La merveilleuse odyssée de l'idiot Toboggan (2002). He committed suicide at the age of 55 on May 20, 1997, in Germany.
