An American actor, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He appeared in silent comedies in the twenties in short two-reel films (20 minutes) and also presented B-Westerns. He got big roles during the thirties, and after a decade-long absence, he returned in the early fifties under the name Jack Hill. In addition to films, he worked on television shows. Some of his notable works are Mystery Liner (1934), Telephone Operator (1937), and The Brain Faters (1958). He died of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California, USA on December 11, 1972, at the age of 72.
