He was a Canadian writer, born in Deep Creek, Canada. He studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts. His writing debut was a play that was later adopted into the TV series Shoestring Theatre (1963-1964). He is known for Festival (1966), To See Ourselves (1972) and Hungry Hills (2009). He died at the age of 55 on November 18, 1987, in British Columbia, Canada.
