He is a Canadian writer, producer, and director. He was born in Saint-Hyacinthe, Canada. His first production work was Larose, Pierrot et la Luce (1982). He is known for Kamataki (2005), Karakara (2012), and Visage pâle (1985). Among his several awards and nominations are the César Award and the Genie Award.
