She also performed classic Shakespeare plays on Broadway, and her theater work continued while she worked in film and television. She married casting director Martin Case (1942-1981), and he remained with her until her death. Among her notable works are Doctor in the House (1969), Child in the House (1956), and Murder Ahoy (1964). She died on June 13, 1981, in Westminster, London, England, UK, at age 63.
