An Australian editor, director, and actor, born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He began his career as an editor in the series Matlock Police in 1975. His notable works include Blood Makes Noise (2005) Crocodile Dundee (1986), and Solus, for which he won the June Award for Best Director at the Independent Shorts Awards. He married producer Rosemary Marks in 1991.
