An Italian-Canadian actress, born in Sicily. As a child, she immigrated to Toronto, Canada. She made her debut in 1987 in the series Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Her notable works include Mafia Inc (2019), Blindness (2008), and Jasmine Road (2020), for which she was nominated for a CAFF Award for Best Actress at the Central Alberta Film Festival. She married actor Greg Ellwand, with whom she has three children, including actress Ellie Ellwand.
