A Swiss musician, born in Zürich, Switzerland. He is known for being a member of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, which he joined in 1985. He appeared, along with the band, in Wim Wenders' 1987 film Wings of Desire. His other notable credits include Hellboy (2004) and Scream (1996).
