A Canadian actress, born in Toronto, Canada. She moved to the UK in 1965 and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1967. She made her screen debut in the series The Avengers (1968-1969), for which she won a Special Award at the BAFTA Awards in 2000. Her notable credits include Emmerdale Farm (2006–2007), Half Past Dead (2002), and Olympus Force: The Key (1988). She got married four times and has one son.
