He was an American actor, stunt performer, and assistant director. He was born in Alamosa, Alamosa County, Colorado, USA, as Robert Dee Henry. He has appeared mainly in western films since his childhood. His mother ran an equestrian facility and taught him to ride, and he participated in rodeos and vaudeville. He also worked as a stunt double for Frank Sinatra, Glenn Ford, and James Coburn. He is known for The Wild Bunch (1969), Danny Boy (1945), and Buzzy Rides the Range (1940). He died at the age of 40 from a motorcycle accident on September 30, 1971, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
