A Belarusian screenwriter, playwright, actor, and director, born in Minsk, Belarus. He joined the Belarusian State University School of Law. He later completed the film director's internship at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. He made his debut as a screenwriter in Lyubov-Morkov (2007). His notable works include GaraSh (2015), Three Seconds (2017), for which he was nominated for a Golden Eagle Award for Best Screenplay, and Yulenka (2009).
