An American actor, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He was a film, television, theater, and radio actor, and he worked on Broadway. He formed a comedy duo with actor Gay Seabrook. He is known for California Straight Ahead! (1937), Adam's Rib (1949), and The Prowler (1951). He died after surgery at the age of 66 on January 10, 1967, in Hollywood, California, USA.
