A Canadian playback singer of Indian descent, born in New Delhi, India. Jonita moved to Canada as a baby. She received her BHSc and HBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. Her credits include Dil Bechara (2020), Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022), and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). In 2017, she won the Critics' Award for Best Vocalist of the Year (Female) for Dangal at the Mirchi Music Awards.
