An American film and television actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA as William James Todd. He married actress Eula Guy. Among his notable works are The Luck of the Irish (1948), Riders of the Purple Sage (1931) and Titanic (1953). He played supporting roles such as judge, lawyer, priest and doctor. He died in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 8, 1968, at age 63.
