An American actor, born as Morris Miller in San Francisco, California, USA. After serving in the US Air Force, he attended an acting school in Los Angeles, then moved to New York, where he made a temporary living as a taxi driver and dishwasher while searching for an acting job. In 1951, he managed to work on Broadway, and after two years, he moved to Hollywood. He played roles in crime films and moved to other genres, playing the roles of policemen and paramedics. He married Cindy Marlo, they had two children, and she stayed until his death. Among his notable works are The Towering Inferno (1974), Ben Casey (1964-1965) and The Buccaneer (1958). He died in Marysville, Washington, USA, on November 7, 2019, at the age of 82.
