An American actor, musician and songwriter, born in Springfield, Ohio, USA. His father was a priest, and he broke into the world of entertainment shows behind his parents' backs, then moved to California after his father's death and took up some odd jobs before starting his film career in 1952. He joined the US Army as an entertainment NCO stationed in Germany. He married actress Molly Bee in 1969, and their marriage ended in divorce after 4 months. He's known for I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957), Surf Party (1964), and Blood Stalkers (1976). He died of pneumonia in Palm Springs, California, USA, on May 8, 2017, at age 85.
