A British actress and dialogue coach, born in Caterham, Surrey, England, UK as Patricia Kathleen Matthews. She worked in film and television and played supporting roles in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy. She was married twice and had two children. Her notable works include The Sound of Music (1965), The Buccaneer (1958) and Filumena Marturano (1951). She died from complications of emphysema in Mijas, Malaga, Andalusia, Spain on September 24, 2002, at age 80.
