She was educated in Leicester, then returned with her family to...Read more Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland in 1966. She's best known for her work in television and Irish theatre. She joined Trinity College in 1968, where she studied English, philosophy and history, and began acting in the 1970s. Her work includes The Serpent's Kiss (1997), Sunburn (1999), Trouble with Sex (2005) and Happily Ever Afters (2009). She died of cancer on September 9, 2013 in Dublin, Ireland.
