An Iraqi radio and television singer and composer. He began his career before the end of the seventies in the city of Al-Thawra (Sadr City), and became famous for several songs such as "Yanoura" and "Habibi Kamra", which was composed by him. He studied Iraqi singing and maqam in several music institutes and centres. He met great composers who enriched his artistic experience, including Kazem Fendi and Jafar Al-Khafaf. He considers himself a graduate of the school of the artist Farouk Hilal, who presented him through his famous program Young Voices, after which he began to gain fame locally and in the Arab world. Among his work: "Baghdad", " Al Nakhla" by poet Abdul Razzak Abdul Wahed, and a collection of poems dedicated to Arab capitals.
