A prolific American actor in film and television, born in Kansas City, Kansas, USA. He played many supporting roles. Among his notable works are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954), Dressed to Kill (1941), and Murder in the Big House (1942). He died in Palmdale, California, on March 29, 1967, at age 58.
