She returned to acting with voice work, then made her final appearance in the series The Irish R.M. (1984). Among her notable works are Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959), Holiday for Lovers (1959) and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1957). She died in Dublin, Ireland on October 18, 1989, at age 77.
