An American actor, born in Norwich, Connecticut, USA. He is best known for The Loves of Edgar Allan Poe (1942). He married Rosalinda Schafer (1923-1979), and she remained with him until his death. He died in Los Angeles, California, on May 7, 1979, at age 83.
