An Irish actor, born in Strokestown, County Roscommon, Ireland. Among his notable works are Night Tide (1961), Whistling in Brooklyn (1943), and Woman on the Run (1950). He married Roumania Amelia Sintes (1918-1962) and she remained with him until his death. He died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on September 15, 1962, at age 66.
