An American film and television actress, born in Oakland, California. She was a dancer since childhood and also a model. She began her film career in 1926 and was a leading lady in silent films. In the sound era, she was a heroine in Western films, and when her career slowed down after marriage, she played supporting roles. In 1929, she was chosen as a WAMPAS Baby Star. Among her notable works are The Lost Special (1932), Tracked (1928), and Wolf Fangs (1927). She married actor Bert Stevens (1934-1964), they had a child, and he stayed with her until he died. She died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, on February 20, 1983, at age 79.
