He was a prominent and prolific American film and television actor and stuntman who performed dangerous scenes in films. He performed from the 1930s until the mid-1960s. Before he became an actor and stuntman, he was a professional American football player, a golf assistant, and, in addition to his film work, he owned a nightclub. His notable works include Climax! (1955), Flowing Gold (1940), and China Girl (1942). In 1944, Sol Gores married actress Virginia Haralson. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on September 10, 1966, following a heart attack, at the age of 58.
