He was employed at Disneyland as a horse-drawn carriage driver as well. He is known for Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), The Wild Wild West (1965-1969), and Knots Landing (1984). In 1952, he married Laverne Booth, they had two children, and she remained with him until his death. He died in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on March 16, 2017, at the age of 91 years.
