An American film and television actor, a teacher, and a writer. He was born in El Paso, Texas, USA. He spent 30 years as head of the drama department at Pasadena High School. The school’s “Little Theatre” was renamed the “Abel Franco Theatre.” He also taught English to new students at the school and drama to thousands of students. He took many students under his wing to teach them about life and find jobs for them. He is known for Three Amigos! (1986), Santa Barbara (1988), and Toma (1973). He died at the age of 77 on June 15, 2000, in Pasadena, California, USA.
