An American actress, born in Charleston, West Virginia, USA. She died in Palm Springs, California, USA, on November 2, 2005, due to complications from a stroke, at the age of 82 years. Jean got married twice and had two children. Among her most important works are The Phoenix City Story (1955), The Twilight Zone (1960), Studio One (1949-1952), and The Party (1968). She began her artistic activity as a child actress in some theatrical performances, and at the age of 12, she trained in music and dancing to become an actress. She trained in acting in school theater during her high school studies and then studied at Carnegie Mellon University. She appeared on Broadway in 1948, presented a wonderful comedy impression, and won the World Theater Award. In 1949, she began her film and television career but she never left the theater. However, her alcohol addiction affected her artistic career.
