An American actress of theatre, film, and television, born in Troy, New York, USA. In 1918, she married producer George Ford. Among Helen Ford's most important works are The Model and the Marriage Broker (1951), Mystery and Imagination (1966), Public Defender (1954), and The Raid (1954). Ford was a notable musical comedy star on Broadway during the twenties. She was a musical prodigy when she was a child, and she studied voice and piano at Troy Music Academy, New York. She then continued to appear in cinema, television, and theatre. Helen Ford died in Glendale, California, USA, on January 19, 1982, as a result of a stroke, at the age of 87.
