An English actor, born in Wandsworth, London, England, United Kingdom. Arthur Howell was married to model and actress June Palmer (1963-2000) and their marriage ended in divorce. Among the most important works of Arthur Howell are An American Werewolf in London (1981), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), and Krull (1983). Arthur Howell's career lasted from the early fifties until the late eighties. He died in Braintree, Essex, England, United Kingdom, on August 1, 2003, at the age of 82.
