A British actor, born in Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom in 1935. Among his most important works are Doctor Who: Shada (1992), Doctor Who (1979-1980), On the Game (1974), and Threads (1984). David Brierly worked in cinema, television, theater, and radio. He voiced the role of the robotic dog K-9 on the science fiction television series Doctor Who. He was an expert sailor and long-distance runner. He died in Twickenham, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom on June 10, 2008, from cancer at the age of 73.
