An American film and television actor and stand-in, born in Salem, Missouri, USA. Steve Benton married Marie, they had a child, and she remained until he died. Among his most important works is You Can’t Run Away From It (1956). He worked as an extra, playing the roles of the policeman, the driver, the electrician, the juror, the servant, the nurse, and the barfly. Steve Benton died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on August 4, 1976, from heart failure at the age of 80.
