A British stage, film, and television actor, born in Great Dunmow, England, United Kingdom. Among his most important works are Forced Vengeance (1982), Remington Steele (1982), One Step Beyond (1959), and Amazing Stories (1985). Nelson Welch began his professional career with theatrical work in a touring theater company before working in cinema and television in the early 1950s. He died in Los Angeles County, California, USA, on August 6, 1991, at the age of 85.
