A British actress and dancer, born in West Ham, London, England, United Kingdom. She married Maelgwyn Mathias Wigley (1979-2009), and he remained with her until his death. Among her most important works are I Only Arsked! (1958) and The 39 Steps (1959). Pamela Chamberlain appeared in minor roles in a number of films from the late 1940s through the 1950s. Her father was a pianist and she studied at a French convent in Palmers Green, London. She began her artistic career at the age of 15. She was a member of Margaret Kelly's dance troupe and participated with her twin sister Pauline Chamberlain in cabaret performances.
