An Australian actor, born in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Russell Napier married Lois Mary Caird Miller (1938-1974), they had two children, and she remained with him until his death. Among his most important works are The Stranger Came Home (1954), A Night to Remember (1958), The Time Machine (1949), and Little Red Monkey (1955). Russell Napier was a character actor, who worked in theater, film, and television. He was also a lawyer. He started working on stage in 1936, played comedic and dramatic roles in film and television, and appeared as a police officer in the long-running series Scotland Yard (1960). Russell Napier died in Surbiton, Surrey, England, United Kingdom, on August 19, 1974, at the age of 63.
