A British musician born in Redditch, United Kingdom. He was the drummer of the rock band Led Zeppelin. He started playing the drums at the age of five, and played with a number of bands such as the Yardbirds. He studied at Lodge Farm Secondary Modern School. Among his credits is The Song Remains the Same (1976). He died on September 25, 1980 in Clewer, United Kingdom.
